This qualification will be delivered over 52 weeks, including 36 weeks of training and assessment spread over 6 terms of 6 weeks and 16 weeks of holidays. Class sessions are planned to ensure that students have a mixture of practical and theoretical components and those classes cater for a wide variety of learning styles. Additionally, workplace practices and environments are simulated and used to conduct skills-based assessments in accordance with unit requirements.
Students are required to study for at least 20 hours per week by attending scheduled classes and completing structured Self-Paced Learning activities each week. Students must also undertake additional research, reading, and practice activities to successfully complete their unit/s of competency.

Note that for international students, satisfactory course progress is required in order to meet visa requirements. Upon acceptance of a student’s application for enrolment, a letter of offer and written agreement, will be forwarded to students. Students must read through all provided information as it will provide all necessary information about the course of study. A Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) letter will be issued once the signed acceptance of the offer and written agreement are received.
Orientation will be provided the week before your course starts. Orientation will include information about the campus, living in Australia, accessing our support services and methods for achieving success throughout the course, including course progress requirements.

These textbooks may be purchased by students through Cengage Learning or any other bookshops or online providers that offer this publication.
Student must also supply their own laptop with appropriate software and access to a fast and stable internet connection.
Enrolment at NVR includes an email account with access to Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Microsoft Teams and additional classroom tools).
To study online in a Virtual Learning Environment, students also require a web camera and microphone to participate in their scheduled classes.
International students are also required to take out Overseas Health Insurance Cover before arriving in Australia. NVR Education provides details of OSHC providers in the International Student Handbook.

Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in our International Student Handbook, which is available at www.nvr.edu.au/policies-and-procedures.
For international students, the granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course.
The result of an application for credit and any changes to fees or course duration will be advised to students in writing.
If course credit is granted following issuance of the Confirmation of Enrolment, students will receive a new Confirmation of Enrolment showing a reduced duration.
